OUR PASTOR

Pastor Kevin Martin is a devoted shepherd, anointed preacher, and compassionate counselor with a deep love for people and a heart for ministry. He has been actively involved in ministry since 1990 and currently serves as the founding pastor of The Pentecostal Church of Atascocita.

He is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and has held his ministerial license in good standing since 1992. In 1995, Pastor Martin stepped away from a 14-year career as an Electronics Telecommunications Specialist with Natural Gas Pipeline Company to pursue full-time ministry. His obedience to God’s call led him to pastor the United Pentecostal Church of Cooper, Texas, for six years, where he also served as Sectional Youth Director and worked as a hospice chaplain for Christus St. Joseph’s Hospice.

With a burden to reach the Humble/Atascocita community, Pastor Martin and his family relocated and planted TPOA in 2002. Since then, he has continued to serve the greater body of Christ through leadership roles including Sectional Sunday School/Children’s Ministry Director, Sectional Global Missions Director, and Editor of the STX UPCI Vision Magazine.

In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Martin is also a licensed Christian counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling, a minor in Christian Education, and board certifications in Marriage & Family Therapy and Temperament Counseling. He ministers at youth and children’s camps, marriage seminars, and family conferences, bringing both spiritual depth and heartfelt encouragement to every setting.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Martin is a gifted musician and plays an active role in TPOA’s vibrant music ministry. His messages are Spirit-led, his worship is sincere, and his love for people is unmistakable. He and his wife, Janetha, married since 1982, have two sons, Braxton and Trenton, and together they have dedicated their lives to the work of God.

Their ministry is centered on salvation, healing, deliverance, restoration, and helping people find their purpose in Christ. Pastor Martin is more than a preacher —he’s a pastor in every sense of the word, and we are truly blessed to call him ours.
